The AFOQT (Air Force Officer Qualifying Test) is used by the United States Air Force (USAF) to select candidates for officer training programs. The exam determines a candidate's potential success in military officer training and commissioning. Strong performance on the exam increases a candidate's opportunities in the USAF.
The USAF uses the TBAS (Test of Basic Aviation Skills) to assess an applicant's suitability for aviation in the service. This section comprises simulator-based subtests that require strong hand-eye coordination and multi-tasking skills.
